The One who calls us to action
and contemplation,
you call us to return to the mountain
to memorize meditation,
pronounce presence
to unknow the knowable
in silent places:
in the corners hidden in time
and minutes hidden in spaces.
Give us will and a way
to meander this mountain
though the waves rage
the winds roar
and the unknown
is the only thing that is sure
so we can walk
amongst the storm
untouched by chaos
calling out and singing loud
for faith to come
and not be drowned.
